The Arch of Cabo San Lucas Is Baja's Ultimate Destination

Rising majestically from the sea at the tip of the Baja Peninsula is a rugged rock formation that captures the spirit of Cabo. Surrounded by sapphire seas, the Arch of Cabo San Lucas graces countless vacation photos.
It is also one of Cabo San Lucas' most recognizable landmarks, situated at the tip of the world - Land's End. Visible from nearly every vantage point in the city, El Arco's beauty is admired far and near. Grab a water taxi and view the iconic golden arches up close. Take your camera and time your visit to enjoy a stunning Sea of Cortez sunset to frame your own memory.

FAQs

  • Is it safe to swim at Land's End?
Lover's Beach, at the base of the Arch, is the ideal spot for relaxing beach time. Sunbathe, snorkel and swim in the calm, protected waters on the Sea of Cortez side of Land's End. However, due to converging currents at Land's End, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, swimming and water activities are not recommended on the Pacific side, known as Divorce Beach, due to rough conditions.
  • How do I get to Land's End?
Getting to Land's End is easy. Just hop on a water taxi in the Cabo San Lucas Marina and ask the captain to take you to Land's End. You can enjoy the view from sea or ask to be dropped off at the beach. Your water taxi driver will arrange a pick-up time for you, so you can spend as much time as you'd like enjoying the sandy beach, warm water and enticing views.
