Meet the Chef
Originally from southern Chile, chef Víctor Arriagada began his culinary career very young. He started his studies at the age of 15 and, three years later, moved to Cancún, México. He has worked in internationally renowned hotels for over 10 years, and after his experience in San Sebastián, Spain, he has solidified his expertise and vision of the culinary world.
Back in Mexico, he spent some time in Cancun, and in 2016, Chef Arriagada decided to continue his career in Los Cabos. Later, he worked for the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia, where he stayed for 2 and a half years, further refining his style. In 2020, he decided to return to México as the Executive Chef for renowned hotel brands. Today, he leads the culinary team at Grand Velas Los Cabos, bringing his experience and philosophy focused on quality, commitment, and discipline.
