Just back from a week in March. Can't say enough about the attention to detail in every way, here. The food is made with great care. The gym is clean and spacious. The staff all over the resort are warm and generous. Lots of great shade by the multiple pools. Lots of great drinks by the pools. Get your camera ready for some spectacular views from your balcony.

Wonderful hotel by all means. The room and bathroom were very spacious and the view was absolutely breathtaking. OMG that bowl of fresh fruits and fresh flowers when you enter the room! From the minute we arrived, until the moment we left, the staff was impeccable, very friendly and professional. Excellent breakfast every morning at Azul. Spa day was amazing, I really enjoyed it. What sets Grand Velas hotel apart is how pampered & welcomed they make you feel! Let me talk about restaurants at Grand Velas. The food was spectacular, all cooked to perfection and the service top notch. Every meal was creative & delicious. Quality and excellence from beginning to end. Thanks to Chefs at Lucca and Piaf that took time and came to our table and thanked us. To his entire team especially Antonio Lamonica and Ivan Gutierrez (Lucca) and Daniel Del Moral (Piaf) I asked for their names ;) The service was prompt and unpretentious. I can’t say enough about this place. This was our second stay at this property. The entire experience was awesome. Thank you!!

Our family of 11 spent the last week at Grand Velas and it was the most amazing experience for all of us. Every single person that works there was friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. Bar far the best staff that we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Our concierge Carlos could not do enough for us and was always there when we needed him. The food was amazing and the servers were the best we have ever seen. I could not imagine ever taking another vacation as special as this one was.
