Frequently Asked Questions

Q
Can you swim in Los Cabos?
A Yes! You can swim in Los Cabos, in fact Los Cabos is home to dozens of beaches, some known for their beauty while others for their safe swimming, snorkeling or surf breaks. Playa El Médano in Cabo San Lucas is the place to be during Spring Break. The 2-mile stretch of beaches, bars, restaurants and umbrella-shaded sunbeds draws visitors throughout the year as well. The Playa del Amor, or "Lover's Beach", is an icon in Los Cabos, probably the most photographed beach due to its unique locations amid the rock formations at Land's End. You'll also find several beaches along "Tourist Corridor" - the 20-mile strip of highway that connects Cabo San Lucas with San Jose del Cabo. Beaches like Chileno, Santa Maria and Palmilla are the most popular beaches as well as the three beaches that have received a Blue Flag certification for quality and sustainability by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). If you're looking for surf breaks, you can't miss Costa Azul, and if you're looking for instagram photos, check out Playa Las Viudas and Widow's Beach to see fantastic volcanic rock formations and countless inlets and coves tucked away in the coves.
