In partnership with Shaadi Destinations, the premier Indian destination wedding agency, the new offering includes a complete buyout of any of the three flagship Grand Velas properties—Grand Velas Los Cabos, Grand Velas Riviera Maya, or Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit—each renowned for their expertise in hosting opulent South Asian weddings.  

The experience begins with a private charter for the bride, groom, and their families to Los Cabos, Riviera Maya or Riviera Nayarit followed by a five-night site inspection with Shaadi Destinations. Couples will review their wedding details on site and can expect an unparalleled level of luxury and attention to detail, creating a truly unforgettable wedding experience.

When it comes to the main events, it is a visual spectacle. The wedding ceremony features an overwater acrylic stage set above the resort's main pool, creating a stunning overwater ceremony backdrop. The set design is inspired by Bollywood fantasies, with a mandap adorned in plush velvet cushions embroidered with golden tassels, surrounded by lush greenery and cascading florals. The groom makes a thrilling entrance by skydiving directly into the baraat, adding an adrenaline-fueled twist to the traditional procession. Equally dramatic, the bride arrives on an elephant, an iconic symbol of royalty and tradition that adds an element of grandeur and cultural authenticity to the ceremony. For their Vidaai (departure), the newlyweds ascend into the skies in a hot air balloon. Additionally, during key moments like the couple's entry or after the exchange of vows, a helicopter or drones will shower the area with flower petals.

Custom fittings and consultations for the entire wedding party are offered in advance of the events at Chicago's Studio East6. This prestigious Indian multi-designer boutique, known for outfitting celebrities like Mindy Kaling, offers exclusive access to high-end designers such as Falguni Shane Peacock, Tarun Tahiliani, Anita Dongre, Papa Don't Preach, and Masaba. Additionally, renowned makeup artists and expert seamstresses are flown in directly from India on the Mehndi Night to custom tailor wedding ceremony lehengas for the bridal party. 

The culinary offerings on tap incorporate both traditional dishes and innovative region-specific Indo-Mexican fusion, like Yucatan-Gujarati or Oaxacan-Punjabi pairings. A top Indian chef oversees the entire menu throughout the festivities, offering a different cuisine every day. High-end experiences such as tastings of the world's most expensive tequila and tacos prepared by two Michelin-star celebrity chef Sidney Schutte further elevate the experience. 

Additionally, a bevy of unforgettable entertainment is on tap as an option for guests at an additional cost, including a private performance from top international pop stars.
