New Girls’ Getaway Package Features Frida Kahlo-Themed Beach Dinner, Sunset Cruise and Pampering at Grand Velas Los Cabos
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (October 19, 2021) - The AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Los Cabos resort is offering a new ‘Girls' Getaway' package that features, among other things, a fun Frida Kahlo-themed beach dinner. The four-day/three-night trip for up to six also includes a three-hour sunset cruise on the 55-ft Bella Yacht and all-encompassing wellness experiences for pure relaxation.
After pandemic lockdowns, women are looking to get together with their friends while experiencing some much-needed relaxation and fun. A highlight of the trip at Grand Velas is a Frida-themed dinner that starts with custom floral headdresses and a tequila tasting and concludes with a mariachi serenade. The menu of Frida's favorite dishes will be paired with Mexican wines.
Additionally, the ‘Girls' Getaway' package includes a three-hour sunset cruise on the Bella Yacht. On board Grand Velas' 55-foot Azimut Yacht, guests will be treated to regionally-inspired cocktails as well as wine and cheese from the Valle de Guadalupe, homemade bread and marmalade, and cold cuts—all while cruising the azure waters of the Pacific Ocean.
When it is time to decompress, the group can head to the renowned Se Spa for a private Facial Spa Atelier Workshop and a Four-Hand Tequila & Nopal Massage. The 80-min treatment begins with an energy purification ritual to call forth the four elements. Then, while one spa therapistuses ancestral techniques of stretching using typical Mexican, another applies a tequila rub to seal the skin. Native to Mexico, the Blue Agave plant which is harvested to produce tequila has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. At the end of the treatment, a masque made with nopal softens the hands and feet with its high emollient properties. Included in the spa day is access to the spa's noted seven step water journey which features a eucalyptus-scented steam room with chromotherapy, polar pool, aromatherapy sensory shower, sauna, and Jacuzzi. A multi-sensory pool features several hydro elements such as powerful massaging faucets for neck and back and bubble beds, carved-stone chaises with jets set just underneath the surface of the water on which guests recline.
The Girls' Getaway package starts at $19,200 USD for a group of up to 6 girls inclusive of 3 nights in 2 suites in triple occupancy, the above inclusions and roundtrip airport transportation. Gourmet meals, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, nightly entertainment, taxes, gratuity, and more are also included in the resort's nightly rate.
