New Father’s Day Promotion Features Tequila Themed Amenities and Pampering for Dads at Grand Velas Los Cabos

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (May 13, 2021) - Forget TOOL TIME, it's tequila time at Grand Velas Los Cabos this Father's Day. The luxury resort, rated the #1 luxury resort in Mexico in TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards, includes tequila themed amenities and services for dad's complete relaxation. A tequila tasting, Blue Agave Massage, and Tequila Sunrise insuite amenity set the stage for fathers to be pampered, while e-biking, beachfront cinema, drone fishing and more allow dads and their broods to make memories together. The offering can be purchased as a gift to be enjoyed anytime (even as a prelude to Father's Day) or during the actual holiday.

While the kids enjoy dedicated Kids' and Teens Clubs', dad and mom can opt to reconnect over a Tequila Tasting at the resort's Tequila Mezcal Bar. The bar has over 140 varieties of the spirits, but in this tasting, dad will explore five different types of tequila, including blanco (no aging), reposado (aged for 2 - 12 months), anejo (aged 1 - 3 years), extra anejo (aged 3+ yrs), and joven (blend of different ages), from both the highlands and lowlands of the spirit making regions.

When it is time for dad to completely decompress, he can head to Se Spa for a Blue Agave Candle Massage. Blue agave, the plant from which tequila is made, is the main ingredient in this treatment. The therapeutic, anti-inflammatory, restorative and moisturizing benefits of blue agave are felt during and after the subtle, gentle-pressure massage. Prior to the massage, dad is invited to get in the mood with a seven step water journey. A eucalyptus-scented steam room with chromotherapy, polar pool, aromatherapy sensory shower, sauna, Jacuzzi and multi-sensory pool with powerful massaging faucets for neck and back and bubble beds ensure complete relaxation.

As the sun breaks the horizon in a tight ball before spreading a myriad of reds, yellows and oranges across the sky above the Sea of Cortez, dad can opt for a Tequila Sunrise Amenity insuite. He'll wake to a pot of coffee with a Mexican twist,  1921 Tequila Cream liqueur and fresh whipped cream, for an early morning cocktail sure to start the day right. Native to Guanajuato, Mexico, the tequila cream is made with Blanco Tequila, coffee, milk, cinnamon and anise providing for a uniquely Mexican flavor.

Ensuring memories for years to come, family friendly activities range from water balloon wars, cooking classes and astronomy nights to e-biking down the beach, drone fishing and beachfront cinemas. The resort also arranges microadventures including a day trip to the scenic coastal town of Migrino for a gourmet picnic, rock mapping light show in the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains and boating in La Paz aboard the hotel's 55-foot Azimut yacht.

Rates at Grand Velas Los Cabos' all-inclusive resort start at $658 per adult per night in double occupancy and include luxury suite accommodations, gourmet meals, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, nightly entertainment, taxes, gratuity, and more. Children (4 to 12 years old) and teens (13 to 15 years old) cost $120 USD and $200 USD per night respectively. Bookings must be made by June 20th, for travel by September 30th. Microadventures, drone fishing and beach cinema are an additional cost. For reservations or additional information, please call 1-888-407-4869 or visit https://loscabos.grandvelas.com/
