We stayed for 5 nights at this resort in Dec '23, and it was one of the BEST vacations we have had in our lives. Yes, it was quite pricey per night, but if you consider the quality of the experience, rooms, food and classes, as well as things like Tequila tasting, kids care, ocean view, etc...I think the high cost was fully justified. We would come back in a heartbeat. Also, our personal concierge, Abdias was outstanding, available on a quick notice, checked-in multiple times a day and provided the best recommendations we could have asked. Also many many thanks to the kids club team, especially Martha for taking such great care of our kid. We are very appreciative.

Amazing hotel to stay in if you have kids. Just the kids club that your kids don’t want to leave makes it so worth it! The hotel doesn’t feel full even at full capacity; the pool is always warm; great pool bar. The level of service at Grand Velas is unmatched. The only “con” is that the beach is not really swimmable, but you could probably swim on calm days. 10/10 will be back again!
