I couldn't say enough positive things about this resort. The staff was amazing and goes above and beyond to try and make sure you have a five star vacation. I have found in the past that all inclusive resorts often fall short in the food department, this however in not the case here as the food was amazing. Plenty of things to keep the children occupied while having great things for adults. Highly recommended for your next vacation!

We have been coming to Grand Velas for years now. Next year will be our 8th stay at the property so we obviously love it because we never go anywhere else repeatedly. It is truly a magical place where the customer service is unparalleled and anything is possible. They literally won’t say “no” to any request and that level of service and attention to detail is what keeps us coming back year after year. The food is (for the most part) outstanding. While we have noticed some incremental decreases in quality over the years, it is still quite good and worth coming back for. The ambiance is just incredible. The infinity pool looking out to the ocean is stunning. The kids club staff does an exceptional job of caring for our children. They are so warm, kind, and attentive. The rooms are large and luxurious with every room facing the ocean. The gym also has stunning views of the ocean. By far though, the best part of this place is the customer service. From house keeping, to the restaurants, to the concierge and private butlers, the bartenders, to the pool attendants. Literally every person there does an outstanding job of making us feel special and well taken care of. We especially love how they deliberately try and keep their occupancy relatively low to provide more of that quiet luxury ambiance. I do wish that there were more breakfast and lunch options especially for families like us who stay for 4-6 days at a time and yearn for more daytime dining options and get a little bored with the pool menu and Azul day after day. We can’t wait for our next visit!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful resort. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was exceptional, and every meal we had was great. The spa was also amazing and was one of the highlights of our trip. A special thank you to our concierge, Christian, who made our stay so pleasant and stress-free. He was always available to answer our questions and made sure everything went smoothly. We also ordered room service several times, and every meal arrived hot, fresh, and tasted great. Adan C. truly made the experience special with his kindness and positive attitude. My family absolutely loved him. Every staff member we encountered was professional, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our vacation memorable. We'd especially like to recognize Moises and Elena by the pool for their outstanding service, Salvador at Lucca, Jaire at Velas 10, and Leopoldo at Loto. Each of them went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! I also wanted to say the restaurants are very cognizant of food allergies which was nice (shellfish allergy here).
