Time and time again, Grand Velas Los Cabos continues to exceed our expectations. This was our third stay at the resort, and each visit has been nothing short of exceptional. The resort truly embodies a five-star experience. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the property is lush and beautifully tropical, and the rooms are both elegant and comfortable. The dining was absolutely outstanding, with every meal thoughtfully prepared and delicious. What truly sets this resort apart for our family is its exceptional attention to children. The kids’ club was phenomenal, and the nanny service for our youngest was incredibly professional, attentive, and gave us complete peace of mind. If you’re seeking a luxurious, family-friendly resort that delivers excellence in every detail, I cannot recommend Grand Velas Los Cabos enough.

I stayed at the Grand Velas Boutique Hotel next door but had access to Grand Velas (as part of the boutique's adults-only package) but I had friends staying here so I got to enjoy some of the rooms. This hotel is beautiful from the art installations in the reception area to the panoramic views of the boats sailing by.

As we pack up and head home from Grand Velas Los Cabos, I didn’t want to leave without expressing my deepest appreciation for what has been one of the most seamless, luxurious, and heartfelt resort experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived at the gates, we were welcomed not as guests, but as VIPs. The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care from every member of the staff set the tone for a truly special stay. Imagine bypassing the usual check-in desk entirely and instead being invited to relax on a terrace overlooking the ocean, a glass of champagne (or a drink of your choice, even for the kids!) in hand, while the check-in process comes to you. It was effortless. And that spirit of ease and service defined the rest of our trip. We were introduced to our personal concierge, Tony, who deserves his own spotlight. Within minutes of meeting us, Tony had made dinner and activity reservations for our entire week, and throughout the stay, he adjusted everything in real time to suit our evolving plans. All it took was a quick message. Every morning, we’d receive a sweet note from him with that day’s agenda, and he made it a point to find us in person, just to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. That kind of personalized attention is rare, and it made all the difference. By the time we reached our room, our bags were already there waiting for us. No lag, no calls to bell service, just a smooth glide into vacation mode. The rooms themselves were stunning, and every detail of the resort, from the facilities to the landscaping to the impeccable cleanliness, reflected the same high standards. What truly stood out was the staff. Every single person, whether part of housekeeping, poolside service, restaurant teams, or simply passing by, greeted us with a smile and offered help without hesitation. The culture of service at Grand Velas is like a well-conducted orchestra: everyone in sync, everyone playing their part to create an experience that feels both effortless and unforgettable. The food? Exceptional. We’ve been to many all-inclusive resorts and left underwhelmed but Grand Velas sets a whole new benchmark. Each restaurant was a culinary experience, rivaling fine dining anywhere, and the quality and variety far exceeded anything we’ve come to expect from an all-inclusive. What sets it further apart is the care from the staff, their service levels weren’t any less than the most expensive restaurants in big cities. Our 4-year-old absolutely loved the kids’ club, which says a lot, he actually asked to go back again. The care, engagement, and fun they provided gave us peace of mind and gave him his own unforgettable time. And I can’t forget the spa, an experience that truly was the icing on the cake. The hydrotherapy circuit combined with a world-class massage and impeccable service left us completely renewed. Every detail, from the tranquil atmosphere to the professionalism of the staff, elevated it beyond just a relaxing break, it was a true wellness escape. What struck us most, though, is that Grand Velas doesn’t just impress first-time visitors. We met many families who return year after year and now, we understand why. This isn’t just a resort; it’s a place people feel drawn back to. And we’re already planning to visit again and to explore other Velas properties as well. Grand Velas Los Cabos delivered far more than a vacation. It gave us a full-hearted experience—luxurious, yes, but also deeply thoughtful, joyful, and relaxed.
